Fibonacci you crazy bastard….

As seen in the solar system (by no ridiculous coincidence), Venus orbits the Sun 8 times in the same period that Earth orbits the sun 13 times! Drawing a line between Earth & Venus every week results in a spectacular FIVE side symmetry!!

Lets bring up those Fibonacci numbers again: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34..

So if we imagine planets with Fibonacci orbits, do they create Fibonacci symmetries?!

You bet!! Depicted here is a:

  • 2 sided symmetry (5 orbits x 3 orbits)
  • 3 sided symmetry (8 orbits x 5 orbits)
  • sided symmetry (13 orbits x 8 orbits) - like Earth & Venus
  • sided symmetry (21 orbits x 13 orbits)

I wonder if relationships like this exist somewhere in the universe….

can we just take a moment to imagine little cute nine-year-old hermione reading matilda

and peering into this book about a smart, bookish girl who could move things with her mind

and then can you imagine her concentrating very hard on the books on the bookshelf and slowly, slowly, getting them to move

Sometimes I get huffy about tumblr but then I see that 260,000 people got the same kind of chills I did reading this…

I’ve discovered there’s a lot you can do inside haunted houses.

For example, you can:

  • be in a shampoo commercial

  • start a boy band:

  • spot some choice booty:

  • break into song:

  • see some people in frankly offensive outfits:

  • attend a metal show:

  • listen to some sick jams:

  • discover zombieism:

  • sample some tasty snacks:

  • watch someone get burned bad:

  • find something you really like:

Hello, friends!

I’m currently downloading The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection to my siblings’ computer because it’s free until the end of July — and since that’s totally rad and everyone loves The Sims and free things, I thought I’d let you guys know how to get it too.

  1. Sign in to or create an EA Origins account.
  2. Open or download their client application.
  3. Go to the “Redeem Product Code” page.
  4. Type in “I-LOVE-THE-SIMS”.
  5. Begin your download!

Like I said, this only lasts until the end of July, so hop on it!

Enjoy your new game and happy Simming!
